Description
I painted this piece years ago, during my time as a student in the UK. Back then, I was filled with uncertainty about where life would take me after graduation. Therefore I wanted this portrait to capture a powerful sense of confidence and determination. The woman’s upward gaze suggests resilience, hope, and strength, as if she is looking toward a bright future or embracing her own inner power. With the expressive brushstrokes and warm, earthy tones I added depth and emotion, while the soft pastel background creates a striking contrast, making the figure stand out with intensity.
